1 Hour – Tamarindo Area
This is a quick and short adventure ride in Tamarindo’s backyard and surrounding area. Travel through Tamarindo and Playa Langosta, up to a lookout point over our beach town with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, and then ride back to the shop.

2-Hour ATV Adventure – Playa Puerto Viejo (Conchal)
Experience a thrilling 2-hour ATV adventure from Tamarindo to Playa Puerto Viejo (Conchal). Traverse tropical dry forests, back roads, and dirt trails as you soak in stunning landscapes. Highlights include a 30-minute stop at Playa Puerto Viejo, offering a quick beach getaway.
3-Hour ATV Adventure – Bahia De Los Pirates
Tamarindo’s most popular ATV tour, the 3-hour adventure, explores tropical dry forests, back roads, and river beds. Visit Puerto Viejo beach and Playa Real (Bahia De Los Pirates) for serene coastal beauty.
4-Hour ATV Adventure – Playa Minas and Zapotillal
Extend your adventure to 4 hours and add a visit to the secluded Playa Minas. Enjoy soft sand, crystal-clear waters, and a lookout point with breathtaking bay views. Explore Brasilito, an authentic Costa Rican beach town.
5-Hour ATV Adventure – Brasilito and Punta Pelencho
For the ultimate experience, choose the 5-hour tour. Visit Punta Pelencho for beach riding and explore Brasilito, a charming Costa Rican beach town. This tour includes all locations from the 2, 3, and 4-hour adventures. Enjoy an adrenaline-pumping ride through Tamarindo’s captivating backyard.
Tour Times: 9 AM, 12 PM, and 3 PM daily
Payment Options: Payment for your adventure is made in our office, not on the website. To understand the tour’s cost, use the booking form on the right-hand side. This feature helps you calculate the tour’s price, allowing us to better prepare for your adventure while ensuring transparency in pricing. Payment can be made in our shop, either in cash or by card, with a 20% fee for card payments.
Age Restrictions: Children must be over 5 years old for ATV tours. Participants aged 16 and under must ride as passengers and are charged accordingly. Children aged 16 years and older can drive their own ATV, if they have Driver’s License. Under 5 years old allowed on UTV’s.
Driver’s License: For all participants who wish to operate an ATV, a valid driver’s license is mandatory. Please ensure you have your driver’s license with you, as it will be required for the designated drivers.
Credit Card Authorization: Prior to the tour, participants are required to provide a Credit Card for authorization at our shop. This is a standard procedure and ensures a smooth and efficient process for your adventure. Rest assured, your card will not be charged unless there are any unforeseen expenses during the tour.
Before embarking on your adventure, all participants must undergo a mandatory drive test. This test isn't a training session but a vital safety measure. It ensures that each rider is familiar with the controls and operation of an ATV. Our experienced guides will walk you through the basics, including starting, stopping, steering, and proper ATV handling.
We understand that ATV operation may not suit everyone. If, after the drive test, a participant doesn't feel confident operating an ATV, an alternative option is available. You can switch to a UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle), offering more stability and ease of handling while ensuring your adventure continues comfortably.
Our adventure begins with a smooth and accessible route along pavement roads to exit town. While these roads offer convenience, it's important to note that during the high season, increased road activity may be encountered due to the popularity of Tamarindo and its surrounding areas.
Once we've left the town and its paved roads behind, the true adventure begins as we delve into the off-road trails and explore the natural wonders that await us. This blend of pavement and off-road terrain ensures a diverse and memorable journey, offering you a well-rounded experience of Puerto Viejo Beach.
We understand that ATV operation may not suit everyone. If, after the drive test, a participant doesn't feel confident operating an ATV, an alternative option is available. You can switch to a UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle), offering more stability and ease of handling while ensuring your adventure continues comfortably.

Tours vary depending on the rainy and dry seasons, affecting trail conditions. During the rainy season, prepare to get extremely dirty as you navigate rivers and puddles! The tour guide may cancel for safety reasons (e.g., lightning, wind, or heavy rain).

ATV tours are designed for your safety and enjoyment, requiring a minimum of two people riding on separate ATVs. This ensures a high level of safety and maintains the quality of your adventure.
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our guests' needs. Please review our cancellation policy below: - If you cancel your tour up to 14 days in advance of the scheduled experience, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid. - If you cancel less than 14 days before the scheduled tour date, the full amount of the tour price will be charged, and no refund will be provided. Please be aware that our cancellation policy is based on the local time of the experience.
